I am in my second year as a field technician working under Dr. Jason Gibbs on project Integrated Crop Pollination (ICP). In addition I am also working on a project that is determining how the diversity of native bees is affected by longleaf pine restoration in South Carolina.

I am mainly interested in insect systematics and diversity with a focus on bees, wasps and flies. I take great enjoyment in identifying insects of any order and I like helping with identification in the lab. Before coming to MSU, I worked for the USGS researching the native bee diversity visiting CRP land on various farms and ranches in eastern Colorado.

On my personal time I enjoy insect collecting and building full body costumes of robotic characters from various television and comic series.
